The client removes all of their footwear and reclines on a couch. Pressure is applied to the reflex points of the foot using the thumbs and fingers. These reflex points are similar to the acupuncture points, and work by stimulating the body's nervous and energy systems in a totally non-evasive way. This therapy is useful for maintaining good health and wellbeing, treating ill-health, and preventing illness.
Reiki
The client relaxes fully clothed on a couch. The practitioner places their hands on or over the client and transmits healing energy through their hands. This energy flows to all parts of the client's body, activating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Reiki treats the whole person including the mind, body, spirit and emotions. This therapy harmonises and balances the whole body's energy, by allowing it to flow freely.
Indian Head Massage
The client sits in a chair and the practitioner applies pressure by way of massage to the scalp, face, head, shoulders and upper back. This may be done with or without oils at the client's request. The treatment works on the muscles, pressure points, and energy centres in the head and shoulders. This helps to relieve tension, stimulates the whole body, and improves circulation and respiration. It also rebalances the body's natural energy system.
Crystal Therapy
The client relaxes fully clothed (except for shoes) on a couch, and the practitioner places crystals on to specific areas of the body. Crystals are also placed around the body. This therapy utilises natural quartz crystals and colour to work on the body's energy systems. They are used to help detect areas of low, stagnant or exceptionally high energy. These are brought into balance and harmony with the rest of the body.
Thermo-Auricular Therapy
The client relaxes fully clothed (without shoes) on a couch. Treatment starts with a short, gentle ear massage. One end of a special hollow candle is gently placed in the outer ear passage and the other end is lit. A chimney effect is generated inducing a warm pleasant feeling. Both ears are treated and the therapy ends with a facial massage to help with natural drainage from ears, nose and throat, leaving a balance of pressure in the ears.
Acupressure Face & Scalp Massage
The client removes their shoes and relaxes, covered by towels, on a couch. Pressure points on the face and scalp are stimulated to help clear any blockages in the energy flow of the body. The treatment can be carried out with or without oils (if shoulder massage requested oils must be used in this area) and finishes with a relaxing scalp massage and chakra balance. This treatment helps to benefit minor sinus congestion, ease headaches, remove tension and alleviate insomnia.
